About countersync:

Countersync was established in 2002 to create countertops for home and commercial use. In 2007, we began to focus solely on solid surface countertops, as we felt this best served the needs of our customers. With solid surface countertops available in such a wide range of colors and textured looks and profiles, we knew we could offer our residential and commercial customers a sophisticated, long-lasting, and easy-to-care-for surface.

Our team of design professionals and fabrication/installation professionals has a vast knowledge of our industry and offer the best in craftsmanship, timely delivery, and expert installation, in addition to a positive customer experience. Once you visit our showroom or give us a call, we will schedule a free estimate inspection for your countertop or shower. After this free review we will provide you with a detailed quote which will explain all of the particulars of your project, including bathroom vanities, custom showers, or anything else you need. If your project is somewhat complex, we will schedule a template and installation appointment. At the template appointment we will come to your home or office to take an exact fabrication measurement of your countertops. We then take those measurements and/or fabrication template back to our shop where we create the countertops to your exact dimensions. Once fabrication is complete, we will come back to your home and install your beautiful new countertop or shower. After installation, we want to make sure you are completely satisfied, so we ask you to sign off on the installation. This gives you the opportunity to inspect your new countertop or shower to ensure that it meets our high-quality standards.

bill phillips, owner

After 33 years in corporate business, Bill was looking for a change of pace when he decided to buy Countersync in 2009. While he had a wealth of management experience, he admittedly knew little about the countertop industry. Enthusiastic about his new role as a small business owner, Bill immediately dedicated himself to learning everything he could. Soon after taking over the business, Bill graduated as a DuPont Corian certified fabricator and installer. Bill is committed to providing superior customer service and personally completes every quote and in-home estimate. Bill is friendly, approachable, and values his customers, his employees, and the CSRA community. In addition to his work at Countersync, Bill works to enhance our community through volunteer work with United Way, the West Augusta Rotary Club, and the highlight of his week is Friday morning, when he reads to a group of first graders at a local elementary school.

Carlos goodwin, Lead Fabricator and Installer

Carlos has worked as a solid surface fabricator and installer for more than ten years, and he has worked at Countersync for eight years. Carlos is an expert in all areas of solid surface fabrication and installation. He is also a DuPont Corian fabricator/installer.

Jessica Bennefield, customer service

Jessica joined the Countersync family in 2016. Her knowledge of color and design and her ability to help meet our customers' needs come from many years of experience in customer service and home design. Jessica's thorough design background and eagerness to assist customers makes her an invaluable member of our team.

Albert Myers, Fabricator and Installer

Albert joined the Countersync team in 2012. 

Chris Phillips, Fabricator and Installer

Chris joined our team in late 2015. Chris's past experience has been in Warehouse Management, and for the past ten years, specifically in the tile industry for wet wall applications. We're glad to have him on board!

Keith Varner, Fabricator and Installer

Keith joined our team in early 2017.

Carter joined the Countersync team in early 2017.

donna ford, accountant

Donna joined Countersync in July, 2012 and brings over 40 years of bookkeeping and accounting experience to our company. She is a welcome addition to our team, and helps with customer support as needed.

wendy smith, customer service support

Wendy helps out Countersync during our Saturday hours of 9:00 am – 12 pm. Her customer service background is a great help to all of our weekend customers. With a background in retail customer support as well as corporate customer service, she is a perfect fit for Countersync.

dixie, head of security

Dixie's Iris Allure (or Dixie, as we like to call her) was a German Shorthaired Pointer. 

After working at Countersync since Bill bought the company, Dixie retired in March 2017. We'll always remember her for her ability to keep an eye on the premises while maintaining a friendly nature with employees and customers alike.
