Our Background  
Countersync was established in 2002 to create countertops for home and commercial use.

In 2007 we began to focus solely on solid surface countertops, as we felt this served the best needs of our customers. With solid surface countertops being available in such a wide range of colors, textured looks and profiles, we knew we could offer our residential as well as commercial customers a sophisticated, long-lasting, and easy care surface.

We are your locally owned and operated source for solid surface countertops, for the traditional kitchen, bath, and shower; however solid surface countertop use is only limited by your imagination. Serving the CSRA for the past 8 years in historic downtown Augusta, Georgia we are centrally located at the corner of Jones and 13th Street, in 3,600 square feet of shop and showroom space.





Our team of design professionals and fabrication/installer professionals have a vast knowledge of our industry and offer the best in craftsmanship, timely delivery, expert installation, and a positive customer experience.

Our attention to detail makes the difference. With each project we bring years of experience and knowledge. Whether the project is a custom home kitchen, a hospital laboratory, or an outdoor bar top, our installers treat each project with precise detail as well as ensure a high quality installation.


Once you visit our showroom or give us a call, we will schedule a free estimate inspection of your countertop needs. After this free review we will provide you with a detailed quote which will explain all of the particulars of your project. If your project is somewhat complex, we will schedule a template and installation appointment. At the template appointment we will come to your home or office to take an exact fabrication measurement of your countertop. We then take those measurements and/or fabrication template back to our fabrication shop and create the countertop to your exact dimensions. Once fabrication is complete we will come back to your home and install your beautiful new countertops. After installation is complete, we want to make sure you are completely satisfied so we ask you to sign off on your installed countertops. This gives you the opportunity to inspect your new countertops and lets us know they meet our high quality standards.

 

 

Our Staff

Bill Phillips
Owner

Bill purchased Countersync at the end of 2009. He spent the past 33 years in the corporate world and brings a wealth of management experience to a great team in place at Countersync.

Bill’s problem solving skills, attention to detail and management expertise have had an immediate positive impact on the company. He is excited to be a new small business owner in downtown Augusta, and looks forward to providing superior solid surface countertops to the entire CSRA. Bill personally makes the initial in-home inspection for estimates as well as a final inspection when the job is done.

Derrick Walter
Shop Foreman

Derrick Walter began working in solid surface in 1999 and graduated as a Dupont™ Corian® certified Fabricator / Installer in 2005. He was the lead installer for 5 years and has been the shop foreman for the past 6 years.

He is proficient in the fabrication and installation of all solid surface brands. His considerable skill in trouble-shooting and problem solving has been crucial in the diagnosing of solid surface countertop repairs. He has experience in building and installing Corian tub surrounds (decks), shower walls and in thermoforming Corian into various shapes. He also has experience in commercial applications of solid surface and knowledge of industry regulations for commercial uses.



Doug Simon
Assistant Fabricator and Installer

Doug Simon brings his varied business background into play every time he enters a customer’s home to install new countertops. He is the former owner of several small enterprises and is experienced in determining people’s needs and meeting them in a professional manner. He has two years study in business management and has recently been designated as a Firefighter I.

Doug joined Countersync in 2008 and is the newest member of the fabrication / installation team.



Toni Giusto
Office Manager

Toni Giusto is a native Augustan and the past owner of Countersync. As such, she brings 8 years of experience in helping local homeowners, cabinet shops and builders with their countertop decisions. Solid surface colors, sink choices and selecting an edge profile can sometimes be overwhelming. Getting to know your style and the “feel” you want to achieve is what Toni can help you define.

Nicole Saxon
Customer Care

Nicole Saxon listens to the clients' wants, needs and desires and helps them meet their countertop needs through functional solutions.

Nicole has an educational background in interior design from the Art Institute of Charlotte, NC as well as years of work experience in the design field. Her background includes furniture and fabrics, home improvement and décor as well as assistance to three different design firms. Nicole's main goal is to help the customer achieve his or her own aesthetic expression through custom countertops.

Our knowledge and experience in the field as well as our strong work ethic is a key to our success. From the initial customer meeting and project planning to measuring, templating, fabrication, and installation, we work to meet this goal for you.
